The Red-Band Trailer For 'Jennifer's Body' Shows Some Skin and Gore!

"Fox is putting a trailer of Jennifer's Body in front of Bruno this Friday. Great, right? Only problem is it's not our trailer. It's kind of a straight horror preview and while we're sure it'll appeal to many of you, we wanted to make sure you guys got to see our cut ... Lets call it the "filmmaker's cut". We think it captures the comedy and scares of the horror films we grew up on - a kind of nostalgia for when horror films were fun. Can't wait to show you the whole film... With that comes a red-banded trailer that even the Megan Fox naysayers will have something nice about. I was honestly neither here nor there about the film (the combination of Fox and Cody has put it in serious danger of being overhyped), but this looks like a lot of fun. The cast looks like they're having a blast (well, the ones who aren't getting ripped apart) and the combination of Amanda Seyfried and Fox makes for a hell of a lot of girl power. This could be the kind of horror movie that plays with all kinds of final girl stereotypes ... or it could just enforce them. With Cody behind the scenes, I'm really thinking and hoping that it'll be the former.

If I have one criticism (and I don't want to jump on the anti-Cody bandwagon by saying it, but here goes), it's that the dialogue is a little too precious and self-aware. The Thai food line? Yeah. But it's a minor complaint in a trailer of gory goodness ... and really, what girl can't get behind a demon who tears apart horny teenage boys? This might just act like two hours of good therapy!

Oh and yes, Megan Fox looks super hot in it. Yeah, I said it.
