It seems Zombieland isn't the only blood Jesse Eisenberg has been busy with -- Bloody Disgusting reports that he's got another all wrapped called Camp Hope.

The Hollywood Reporter posts that Mike Mitchell (Sky High) will direct Monster Squad. But don't worry, it's not a remake -- just a new name for the long-in-gestation Nightcrawlers.

Elias Koteas gets to comfort Milla Jovovich in new stills for The Fourth Kind over at Dread Central.

TV names Rhys Coiro, Mia Kirshner, and Harold Perrineau lead the cast for the direct-to-DVD 30 Days of Night sequel, according to Bloody Disgusting.

Arrow in the Head shares some new The Box stills ... and hopefully we can definitely see it all next month.

After meeting and falling for each other on True Blood, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are taking their horror romance to the big screen with a thriller called Open House, to be directed by her brothers Andrew Paquin. [via Bloody Disgusting]

Moviehole reports that Ian Somerhalder is adding to his horror repertoire by supplementing his Vampire Diaries stint with a gothic fairytale called Cradlewood, which has him heir to a fortune that's got creepy history.

John Landis' Burke and Hare has gotten one sweet casting announcement. Arrow in the Head reports that David Tennant -- aka the recently replaced Doctor Who -- has joined Simon Pegg in the sadistic blood fest.

How will slasher fare play on MTV? You can get a hint over at ShockTilYouDrop, where they've thrown up a clip of MTV's My Super Psycho Sweet 16.

It's not yet May, but it is time for an official website for Darren Bousman's Mother's Day, as Dread Central reports.

And finally, if you need Milla Jovovich horror to get you through the week, head to Bloody Disgusting for a few TV spots for The Fourth Kind.

- Steve Niles, the already very busy creator of 30 Days of Night is likely to get a bit busier now that Universal has optioned his comic series Criminal Macabre. Interesting premise, "supernatural detective who doubles as hitman, taking out all the vampires, ghosts and other unsavory monsters who live among humans, hiding in the shadows by day and emerging at night." I just wish Neal "Prom Night '09" Moritz wasn't producing.

- Just a quick note that Anchor Bay will be releasing the Syfy paid-for remake of Children of the Corn on DVD October 6th. That's about two weeks after the network gives the world premiere on September 26th.

- Also confirmed for October 6th is the looong anticipated release of Michael Dougherty's Trick 'R Treat on both DVD and Blu-ray. Fangoria has a few details on what we can expect from the Warner Bros' presentation, including confirmation that writer/director Dougherty's commentary track will only be avaible on the Blu variety.

- Milla Jovovich would like to tell you that her new movie is super serious and super realistic. Except that it isn't. Still, the trailer for alien abduction flick The Fourth Kind is quite creepy. Plus, it's always good to see the Resident Evil gal when she's doing things other than riding motorcycles up buildings.

Poor, poor Benicio Del Toro. A former resident of last February, last April and this coming November, his take on The Wolf Man has been bumped back to next February now. That's right: for all the re-scheduling and re-shoots, Joe Johnston's version of the classic monster movie has all but lapped itself on the release slate, hoping to serve as R-rated counter-programming on February 12th, 2010 to Valentine's Day fare and maybe rake in the kind of opening weekend that Friday the 13th had this year ($40 million -- albeit followed by a steep 80% drop in attendance)
